Navigating Change and Feeling Grounded in Your Power
Anytime we are leveling up and experiencing growth, change is inevitable. It's one thing to know this and another thing to feel uneasy or resist it.
Here are 10 easy ways to help you navigate change and allow your soul to evolve.
1. Consider what you can control, no matter how small, and take that action consistently. Simply making your bed every day aligns you with commitment to your sacred space. This not only raises your vibe, it helps you set the tone for powerful and consistent actions.
2. Set small goals for the day and week. This can be something that supports your body, mind or spirit. Things like a daily step count, reading 10 minutes a day or eating a salad for lunch.
3. Move your body. Using your energy to move your body for only 15 minutes a day can greatly enhance your brain's ability to think more clearly. Neuroplasticity (brain's ability to form new connections for better cognitive function) helps us gain clarity, receive new ideas and feel more grounded. When you feel anxious, take a walk or dance it out!
4. Eat healthy. Making the commitment to eat something you know is good for you helps you feel grounded physically (you are what you eat!) and also raises your personal vibration so you can connect with the highest good in any moment.
5. Make a list. Writing out fears and anxieties steals their energy! When you see things on paper, you shine a light on them and disarm the effect they have over you. Make a list, then write out the opposite. For example if you write out, "I'm afraid I won't like my new job." Blast it with the potential energy of, "But what if I find a new friend and begin a new career journey?!"
6. Practice saying No. I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "No is a complete sentence." Declining invitations to anything that doesn't support your well being or your current plans is very grounding and also empowering.
7. Put down your phone. The barrage of energy coming at you from social media is unprecedented. And as much as we are able to acquire useful information, we are mostly being engaged with the energy of comparison, fear and marketing ploys. Replace your screen time with a book, a walk or being creative.
8. Take a class. When you have something to focus on, it helps align all your bodies (physical, emotional, spiritual, mental and energetic) which is extremely grounding and empowering.
9. Talk to someone. Sometimes, a good cup of coffee and a conversation is all it takes to release the congested energy and feel like you belong. Do not keep everything inside. Phone a friend.
10. Give yourself a break! It helps to take a moment and see how far you've come. Really examine your strengths and all that you've been through. Then take that momentum and visualize yourself on the other side of this phase, knowing you are headed in the best direction.
I hope these tools are helpful. Please share if it feels right!
