~ A New Dawn ~
As I write this, it's been just over 3 weeks since Dingo crossed the rainbow bridge and life has been unrecognizable at times.
A few days ago, after a wave of sadness and loss hit me hard, I got lots of messages from my higher self and my team. I knew I had to write about them for this week, as the frequency is one that is experienced by many.
The frequency is of feeling totally ungrounded. The feeling I've had every day since Dingo passed is: What day is it?
When you feel grounded, you wake up with purpose, feel situational awareness, feel the connection to the moment, the day and the people around you. It's taken for granted until it's gone. I have never felt this ungrounded before.
This is what my higher self and team had me remember: every day, for 12 years, the first thought of connection to each day upon waking was, "gotta let Dingo out and feed the dog!". Think about that. The mental connection that was the beginning of each day for 12 years was a pattern of responsibility for a creature that was totally dependant on me. There was a rhythm, a purpose, a schedule and a love connection to my day, of taking action for and connecting to a being that totally depended on and protected me.
Every moment that I was in my home, every single day for 12 years, Dingo was either next to me, in the same room as me, followed me to the bathroom, waited outside the door, followed me to the kitchen, the laundry room...everywhere I went, she shadowed me.
I was her person, she was MY dog. So much so, it really annoyed the kids and the hubs that she would sit by the door, wait for me and whine if I left the house. It was this crazy, deep connection that she had with me. Everywhere I was, she was there, for 12 years.
Then she was gone. That connection ceased to exist. It was a major shock to my system and I didn't realize how ungrounded it had made me until a few days ago.
My shadow, my ride or die, my partner in crime...just vanished and I didn't have a sense of my days anymore. I didn't have a sense of time and the loss was incredible.
Being ungrounded is a crazy feeling. And my team is letting me know that it's powerful to acknowledge this and to recognize that healing is happening, through self-awareness and new purpose.
Then, as I always do for confirmation and guidance, I drew a card...and check it out!!
CARD of the WEEK
Seriously, this card could not be more perfect! I am always amazed that the energy that flows through me, from my higher self to the cards, connects with the message that is so empowering.
It's a NEW DAWN, a new season and a new phase of life - not just for me, but for us all.
The energy forecast this week is to embrace the past with love and gratitude, for it has catapulted you to this new phase of power, learning and opportunity. Be in the moment, connect with your days in love and fearless energy, and embrace all that you are capable of, to take inspired action.
The connection and love of the last 12 years in an indelible part of my akashic record and I will be forever grateful. It has taught me unconditional love in ways that are magical. And I'm taking that and using it as fuel for the next phase of life. You are forever in our hearts, Dingo.
